The Great Grade One Science Challenge

In Grade One last week we were learning about the Three Little Pigs. This week in Science we decided to build the strongest house we possible could.  The materials we had to choose from included newspaper, icy pole sticks, toilet roll insides and pencils. We also had masking tape to stick our houses together.

Each team of three had time to draw a design of their house and then make it. These are the finished results.  Aren't they fabulous?!

Next week we're going to test who has the strongest house.  Will it be a 1A team, or a 1B team? Stay tuned for the results!

    1. Oh it was!! Today we tried to 'blow' the houses down with a hairdryer wolf. Sadly the hairdryer was not very powerful.
