On Friday the 13th of May we celebrated Japanese Day. It was a sensational day with great activities available.  All students did Undookai (sports), Manga (drawing cartoons) and Wadaiko (Japanese drumming). The Students then did some cooking, with either Norimaki (sushi) or Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes). Most students loved the cooking the best!! Congratulations to Sensei on a sensational and beautifully organised day, and thank you to the parent helpers!

We have been having Learning Pals on Monday afternoons with our Grade Six friends.  Some students have one Learning Pal while others have two.  Ativities have included reading, writing and making our dinosaur heads for the Open night. The students love going and really enjoy the learning opportunities with their 'big' friends.
